Held on Sundays from 11am-4pm, this event features live music, vendors, kids activities, food trucks, and brunch courtesy of Donnie D's Bagels! In July, we are partnering with Roanoke Valley Speech and Hearing Center and music from Hip-Hop tribute, Phat Laces w. Talking Cake covering songs from Talking Heads and Cake. For over 60 years, The Roanoke Valley Speech and Hearing Center has been helping people of all ages develop their communication skills so they can better relate to the world around them.

Inspired by their mutual love for rap and funk, Phat Laces was created. The vision was to form an instrument driven group that could convey the true feel of hip-hop. The band melds incredible musicianship with dope rhymes, stellar singing, and savory solos. The Laces take you on a ride through the 50 years of hip-hop. Slaying the stylings of The Sugar Hill Gang, Outkast, Biggie, Mac Miller, and much more, they are Mos Def going to get your Body Movin’!! Pop and lock your way down, and shake your groove thang with Phat Laces.

Talking Cake is a vibrant 7-piece music band based in Roanoke, VA, bringing the energetic sounds of Cake the band and Talking Heads to life. Our unique blend of musical styles in our live performances creates an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
