For more than 30 years, Doug has brought his distinctive blend of storytelling, songwriting, and musicianship to listening rooms, house concerts, festivals, and concert venues across the country. The M&M Collective is the duo project of Mona Raza and Mirna Hosny, two empty nesters who decided to learn to play guitar in middle age. After much practice, several open mic and a ton of support from the 3rd Street community, they are now ready to share their music with the world, and we can’t wait! Mirna plays beautiful fingerstyle songs from the Spanish speaking diaspora. Mona is a prolific songwriter in the indie-folk style and hosts First Thursdays Songwriters' Round at the Coffeehouse. Maybe someday they’ll be big stars on the folk festival circuit and you can brag that you saw them when they were just starting out - but only if you come!!
