- **Event Description**: Detachment (Vairagia) as it is established in Classical Indian Thought and as it is expressed through the practices of Yoga, is an effective tool for mediating (from latin mediatus, which means placed in the middle) the experience of life.  Come together in community to discuss the idea of detachment and how it might be used to achieve some measure of freedom upon this loka (sanskrit meaning "world", "planet", "plane of existence", or "realm"). In addition to the conceptual aspect of the Vairagia (Detachment) we will review several methods to practice, from yoga, that might aid a person in navigating their own personal cosmos, aham brahmasmi!   

This class requires no prior knowledge of and/or experience of yoga. No age limits or requirements, necessarily.  

Suggested donation of $30 for the 2-hour experience.
