Nature Journaling

Do you want to explore the outdoors like a professional naturalist? Many naturalists keep journals to document their findings, log their excursions, and hold onto the memories of their journeys.

Join Park Interpretive Ranger Andrea Price to combine art with nature by making a DIY nature journal. During this program, participants will make their own nature journal and follow journaling prompts to aid in exploring the park’s natural environment and recording their findings. All journaling materials will be provided, just bring your imagination and sense of exploration!

This program is limited to 20 participants. Registration is available on Roan Mountain State Park's website at https://tnstateparks.com/parks/event_details/roan-mountain/#/?event=nature-journaling-%20RMSP25. We will meet at the Miller Farmstead.

This program is open to all and coincides with Girl Scouts Love State Parks Days. #gsLoveStateParks
