CONCERT - MICHAEL DOCHERTY

Singer-songwriter Michael Docherty was born in a coalmining town in northern England and moved to western North Carolina in 2024. He's been playing, picking, and jamming around the area ever since. Michael has been writing songs and playing in bands for 20 years, and has performed throughout the UK, Europe, and the US. His soulful vocals and delicate guitar fingerpicking are inspired by James Taylor and Van Morrison. Michael also handles bass and mandolin duties for popular Boone-based band South on Something.
