‘Tis the season! Join Mayor Andrew J. LeBlanc and Council at the Riverfront Trail Gazebo on Thursday, November 20 at 7 p.m. to help turn on the lights and kick off the holiday season.
A fun-filled evening filled with tunes, treats, and a little bit of magic. Mark your calendar and check back soon for more details.
🎄Fundy Chocolate River Station: Located at 391 Coverdale Road, stop in at Buddha Bear Coffee Roaster for a cozy hot beverage! They'll be serving up festive favourites like Gingerbread Latte, Candy Cane Hot Chocolate, and Hot Apple Cider. The cafe will be open during their regular hours from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and will reopen from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. that evening.
🎄While you're there, enjoy live music by Chris Colepaugh at Holy Whale Beer Hall, from 6-8 p.m. Holy Whale will be serving up their signature drinks from 4 - 10 p.m..
🎄Riverfront Trail Entertainment- Soak up the sounds of the season with Atlantic Ballet's Musical Theatre Youth performing traditional carols.
🎄North Pole Direct Delivery- Bring your letter for Santa to the gazebo and drop it in the mailbox for special direct delivery to the North Pole! After the event, the mailbox will be relocated by the elves to Riverview Town Hall, 30 Honour House Court until Thursday, December 4.
🎄Gazebo Entertainment- What a bright time, it’s the right time, to rock the night away with FMU (Flea Market Underground) on the gazebo main stage from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.!
🎄For Deaf, hard of hearing, and late-deafened communities, American Sign Language interpreters will be on stage to provide interpretation for the band’s performance and Mayor Andrew J. LeBlanc's greetings at 7 p.m.
🎄Youth Village- Close to the gazebo, you will find a village of youth ready to re-energize you and your holiday spirit!
🎄Riverview Youth Collective will be inviting folks of all ages to participate in a holiday themed scavenger hunt along the trail!
Riverview High School Royal Reign Dragon Boat Team will be hosting a hot chocolate stand with all proceeds going to Atlantic Wellness and Lions Sick Children's Fund. Don't forget to bring your own mug! Hot chocolate is $3/cup (cash or tap).
🎄Riverview High School Peace and Friendship Allyship and Youth in Action students will be fundraising with the sale of Luskinikn (Bannock) over campfire. Proceeds will help support the Mawi'omi (Powwow) being held in May 2026.
🎄Dayzee's Fashions is hosting a half off sale the day of the Mayor's Light Launch, November 20. Get your warm weather essentials before hitting the Riverfront! Dayzee's Fashions (540 Pinewood Rd.) will be opened until 5:30 p.m. so be sure to swing by.
🎄Santa's Coming to Janet's Bake Shop for Tacos- Jolly Ole' Saint Nick is flying into Riverview to help kick off Light Up! Both Santa and the Grinch will be available for visits and photos at Made With Love - Janet's Bake Shop & Crafts (206 Pine Glen Rd.) from 5:30-8 p.m. Janet will have "Tacos in a Bag" for folks looking for supper to go starting at 5 p.m., and you'll also be able to meet some vendors that sell their products inside the shop from 5-8 p.m.
🎄We Got Stuff will have a Moonlight Madness sale with 50% off vendor marked clothing. We Got Stuff (378 Coverdale Rd.) will stay open until 8:00 p.m. for one night only so be sure to take advantage and stop in.
