Jill Davis, AKA "Grandmother Joy" is a registered nurse, movement facilitator, and ignitor of Secret Sunrise Ohio, which launched in 2024 to create spaces where people can experience dance as a pathway to healing, freedom, and deeper self-connection. 

With over 3 decades in nursing and many years using gentle manual therapies to support babies and families, Jill has witnessed firsthand the body's incredible capacity to heal through touch, rhythm, and movement. Her professional background deeply informs her belief that the body holds wisdom... and that movement can unlock emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being at every stage of life. 

Through Secret Sunrise Ohio, Jill invites people of all ages and backgrounds to reconnect with themselves, each other, and the joy of being fully alive through music and mindful dance experiences often rooted in nature and community.

A life-long lover of the natural world, Jill draws inspiration from the outdoors, creating experiences that feel grounding, nurturing, and expansive. Her heart's work is helping others feel safe in their bodies, free in their movement, and empowered to heal from the inside out.
