When we make our own soaps, we have the chance to choose the ingredients that are good for our bodies and easier on the environment as well. During this workshop we learn the basics of cold process soap-making. We demonstrate safe practices to work with lye so people can create their own bars with confidence at home.  

$25 class fee plus $10 material fee = $35


INSTRUCTOR: Bernadett Szabo lives in Pataskala, OH on a small herb, flower and vegetable farm. She was born in Hungary where she spent summers in her grandmother’s gardens. Once in Ohio, Bernadett joined OEFFA to deepen her knowledge of growing food and medicinal crops. She follows deep organic practices with some biodynamic principles on her homestead. Her business is Bernadett's Farmacy.
