Organizers say the event is intended to foster open dialogue and promote understanding across diverse communities.Panelists scheduled to participate include Frederick Brewington, Esq.; Alyson Bass, Esq.; Phil Andrews of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce; Colette Morgan, chairperson of the Brookhaven Women’s Caucus; Godson Michel, president of Blue Surge Marketing Agency; and Terry Wildrick, co-president of the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and the North Fork.The evening will also feature a special performance by reggae recording artist 'Winston Ire'.The forum is open to the public. Admission is free, though seating is limited.DEMONSTRATION Long Island Vote Ready: AAECF’s Initiative to Empower Voters Info: The Suffolk County Board of Elections will roll out new voting machines and, in partnership with The AAECF, Inc.’s #LIVOTEREADY initiative, will demonstrate the machines at this event ahead of upcoming elections as part of a joint voter education effort.
