Rick Anzalone has been performing solo with his 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars all over Long Island for over 45 years.
The Northport /Huntington native was influenced by the late Harry Chapin in the early 1970's. After Harry's tragic death in 1981 Rick founded The Harry Chapin 5K Run Against Hunger in Huntington benefiting Long Island Cares Food Bank which was founded by Harry in
1980. Through this venture Rick got to know the Chapin family very well over the years performing with Harry's brothers Tom & Steve Chapin at the race events. Harry's son Jason Chapin & family have given their blessing for Rick to play a tribute concert for Harry. Rick will be performing 25 of Harry's Greatest hits. Taxi, Cats In The Cradle, WOLD, Better Place To Be & many more. He will also be performing songs by John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor who all were close friends of Harry and often did benefit concerts with him to help fight hunger.
