What: Community Bike Exchange and Bike Registration for River Forest Residents

Where: Roosevelt Middle School Playground

When: Sunday, April 12th from 10am – 1pm

Why: Sustainability | Community | Philanthropy

There are five ways to participate in the 6th Annual RFCBX:

1. Bring a bike or bike accessory that has been outgrown or is no longer in use and drop it off and exchange it for another bike. Yay!

2. Bring a bike or bike accessory that has been outgrown or is no longer in use and donate it to the event. Thank you so much!

3. Bring yourself and a donation (cash, Venmo or Zelle) and leave with your new-used bike or bike accessory! Another yay!

4.	Bring your bike and register it with the Village of RF Police Department and get your license sticker right then and there.  Pretty great!

5.	Buy a raffle ticket for $5 and enter to win one of the specialty bikes! 

To make this event the most successful, it is highly encouraged to drop off your bike any time April 5th-11th at 730 Lathrop Ave in advance so that we can have the bikes tuned up, cleaned, sorted and ready to go for the start of the event.  When you drop off a bike, you will log it so that when you arrive at the event, we will know that you have already donated.  Additionally, you can show up with a bike to exchange on the day of the event. 

In addition to kids' bikes, adult sized bikes are always very popular too -- the more the merrier!
