DEADLIFT/Competition RULES
1: Athletes will get 3 lifts.
2: Lifting order will go according to Rising Bar style completion
3: If you fail to lift on the platform, you will have 30 seconds to retry again.
4: During lifters’ Age Group portion of the competition, lifters must be available to lift at any time as the Rising Bar weights increase.
5: All competitors are not tested.
6: Lifting is by Strongman Rules, stand straight, knees locked, hitching and resting bar on this is allowed.
7: Deadlift bars will be used.
8: Traditional deadlifting competition, Strongman/women Rules. Unlimited equipment and straps allowed.
9: All comps will have a center referee.
10: Lifters must listen to and obey the referee’s commands. Once the referee is satisfied, the lifter has completed the lift, standing straight and knees locked, the referee will give a vocal command “Down” and a single by lowering his/her arm.
11: The lifter must return the bar to the floor in control, with both hands on the bar until it touches the ground. 
12: For the RF Deadlift Classic, lifters can use a regular or sumo lifting style.
13. Remember to have fun! This is a fundraising lift for the RFPL Team.
LIFTING EQUIPMENT
1: All Types of straps allowed.
2: Wrist Wraps - Any material at any length allowed.
3: Knee Sleeves - Any material is allowed.
4: Any type of footwear, bare feet and socks allowed.
5: Talc on thighs allowed - no oils allowed.
6: Chalk on hands allowed - No liquid or resin.  
7: Lifting belts of any size and material allowed.

ENTRY FEE: Through June 1 - $75 + t-shirts  - No refunds
After June 1 - $100 + t-shirt until the deadline
ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, June 26th (mail must be received by June 26th)
