Event Description:
Peer Perspective Inc. is partnering with Sheli Jo Metzger, BS, CSAC, PS, HRS, RPS, to offer a Mental Health First Aid training for our community.
Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges, and how to connect individuals to appropriate professional and community supports.
This is a full day, in person training with lunch provided.

• Teachers and school staff
• Faith leaders and church volunteers
• Law enforcement and first responders
• People in recovery and peer supporters
• Human service professionals
• Community members and caregivers
No prior experience is required.

A $20 fee covers the required Mental Health First Aid course book.
