Celebrate the Summer Solstice with a two hour special event of Yin Yoga and Sound healing with 7 Chakra Crystal Singing Bowls & Reiki Drumming on Friday 20 June from 18:00 at Exhale Yoga Studio, Ripon.
Symbolically, the Summer Solstice marks the official start of astronomical summer and the longest day of the year.
Our very unique yoga and sound collaboration includes 60mins Yin Yoga with Adrianne from Indyoga focusing on balancing and clearing the Heart and Solar Plexus chakras to release tension in the spine, shoulders and side body. Followed by a deep relaxation accompanied by the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, and the powerful vibrations of Reiki drumming with Liz from Sound Healing Magic.
Allow stress and tension to wash away on the longest day of the year with harmonious tones to guide you through a journey of healing and balance.
Please arrive for 17:50 as we will begin promptly at 18:00.
We have all the props you need at the studio, but you may wish to bring your own mat for extras cushioning under the body, along with some water. Our Yin practice is still and slow paced, as we hold postures for a number of minutes. Please bring layers to avoid getting cold during the Yoga. A blanket and warm socks are a wonderful addition as we lay down for the magical crystal bowls and reiki drumming from Liz.
In case you haven’t been to Exhale Yoga Studio before, we are at Jion studios, 3 Queen Street, Ripon HG4 1EG. As you face the front of Yorkshire Trading on Market Place the door is to the left on the corner, you will see 2 pot plants to either side of the wooden door. Come up the stairs and through the double door into the yoga studio on the right. There are 2 toilets one through the lounge / cafe area and one beyond the studio in the changing rooms. Please have your phones switched off before we start. Parking can be found on Market Place, St Marygate car park behind the studio and street parking with a disc on Victoria Grove and All Hallowgate. Please check you can leave the car before 6pm.
