Q: WHAT IS SHOW AND SELL?
A: Show and Sell is another great way to sell popcorn.  Just like its name implies, "Show and Sell" is when scouts have the popcorn products available to show and sell to their customers right away. The customer can pick from the scout's available inventory and the customer pays for and receives their product on the spot! You then help your scout record the sale on their Show and Sell order form and mark it paid and received.

Q: HOW DOES MY SCOUT DO SHOW AND SELL?
A: Scouts in our pack are most successful loading their wagons with their product and going door to door with their parents. Make sure your scout is in his uniform and practice what he will say in advance. Our scouts have also set up display tables or stands at their parent's workplace, outside their homes, or in their churches. However you decide to Show and Sell, make sure your scout knows what to do and say. The more prepared you and your scout are, the more enjoyable the experience will be for you. Our pack will also have a Show and Sell table set up when we do our brat fry.  Still uncertain? Talk to your leaders and seasoned Show and Sellers! We are all happy to help!

Q: WHAT PRODUCTS CAN I TAKE?
A: Your Pack Leader/Popcorn Kernel will have a wide selection of popcorn products for you to choose from. Please note, it is impossible to keep all products stocked all the time and we hand out popcorn on a first come first served basis. Your Pack Leader/Popcorn Kernel will make every effort to ensure that your scout has access to a variety of products. We try to keep the bestselling Show and Sell products in stock.

Q: HOW MUCH CAN I TAKE?
A: We recommend you take around $500 worth of product.  Of course, we ask you to use your best judgement.  You are responsible for the product when we hand it off to you. You are expected to keep all popcorn stored in a clean, dry, secure place and you must return whatever unsold products you have at the end of Show and Sell (October 22).

Q: DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE POPCORN IN ADVANCE?
A: No. Pack 3735 pays for the product in advance which means it is important to return all the unsold product to your Pack Leader/Popcorn Kernel at the end of the sale so Pack 3735 can get a return credit for those units. It is vital to return the unsold popcorn when your Pack Leader/Popcorn Kernel tells you to because we are not able to return the popcorn after a certain date. If you damage, misplace, or fail to return your unsold popcorn at the end of the Show and Sell period, you WILL be expected to reimburse Pack 3735 for the outstanding cost.

Q: WHAT IF I SELL MY POPCORN AND NEED MORE?
A: Great! We will have a second "Show and Sell Popcorn Pick Up Day" for all scouts in Pack 3735. In addition, your Pack Leaders/Popcorn Kernel will try to be available when you contact us. But please try to be both specific and flexible. Give your Pack Leaders a few days and times that work for you to pick up and/or coordinate with other scout families to show up at the same day/time!
