Free Monthly Wellbeing Group for SEN Parents

Being a parent to a child with additional needs can be beautiful… but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting and lonely at times.

This free monthly wellbeing group is a chance for SEN parents and carers to take a breath, connect with others who truly understand, and refill their own cup in a safe, nurturing space.

Each month will have a gentle theme to support your emotional wellbeing – from self-care and compassion to managing pressure, guilt, and everything in between. There’ll be space to share (only if you want to), feel heard, and find calm.

We’ll finish each session with a relaxing guided meditation and a short sound experience to help you reset and reconnect with yourself.

What to expect:

• A friendly, non-judgemental environment
• A monthly wellbeing theme
• Gentle discussion and peer support
• Guided meditation
• Soothing sound healing (such as bowls or gentle drumming)

This group is for: Parents and carers of children with additional or special educational needs – whether diagnosed or undiagnosed. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Cost: Free – but spaces are limited, so booking is essential.

When: Third Thursday of the month 10:30am–11:30am

Please note my room is upstairs so is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with poor mobility

This is for adults only, please do not bring your child/children.
