Dickens of a Christmas Living Windows

Step into a storybook holiday scene as Ripon’s historic downtown storefronts come to life during the Dickens of a Christmas Living Windows event on Saturday, December 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.

Living Windows is a highlight of the Dickens of a Christmas celebration which also features a Gingerbread House Contest, Enchanted Forest, a Dress A Doll Contest, musical entertainment, and other activities throughout the weekend.
A living nativity scene will be featured; and musical ensembles will stroll throughout the district.

Make the most of your visit by exploring the festive storefronts, indulging in delicious dining, and enjoying the warmth of Ripon’s charming shops—many open until 8:00 pm for holiday shopping.

Ripon's Dickens of a Christmas celebration attracts visitors from all over the Midwest. The event was inspired by Ripon’s own rich history and by its historic connection to Ripon, Yorkshire, England.
