In celebration of National Sewing Month, UT Extension’s Family & Consumer Sciences and 4-H Youth Development programs are teaming up to offer two fun and beginner-friendly Sewing Basics classes—perfect for youth, adults, and families!
Whether you're brand new to sewing or just want a creative way to spend time together, these workshops are open to all ages and experience levels.
Location: 200 Crain St., Ripley, TN 38063
Cost: $15 for one class, or just $25 for both

Learn how to use a sewing machine and make your own DIY heating pad!

Sewing Basics: Intro to Applique
Learn the basics of appliqué and customize your own shirt or sweater—just bring one with you!
