Finding Your Roots: Intro to Genealogy Workshop

Ever wondered about your family’s past? Join us for Finding Your Roots, a hands-on workshop designed for beginners. This workshop, in conjunction with the Behind Clara's Lens exhibit, will guide you through the basics of tracing your family history and teach you how to navigate online resources to uncover the stories of your ancestors. Whether you're new to genealogy or just looking for tips to improve your research, this workshop is for you! The West Virginia State Archives is dedicated to preserving the history of our state and helping you connect with your heritage. They offer a wealth of resources for genealogists and history enthusiasts alike!
