Our 5th Annual Get Lost Seminar will include an abundance of Search & Rescue knowledge. We will again be hosting the event at Parchment Valley Conference Center in Ripley, Wv the first weekend of May 2026. (Friday May 1, 2026 - Sunday May 3, 2026).
This year we will offer K9 Instruction in Air Scent (non scent discriminate and scent discriminate), Trailing/Tracking (wilderness and urban) and Human Remains Detection.
Our Air Scent Instructor will again be David Fleenor with K9 Alert from Virginia. Bio to come soon.
Our Trailing Instructor will again be Bill Artress retired law enforcement from Michigan. Bio to come soon.
Our Human Remains Detection Instructor is to be announced.
Mornings into the afternoons will consist of indoor/outdoor K9 work with your instructors.
Early evenings will consist of classes, and activities.
We will again have our silent auction going on through the weekend with winners announced on Sunday after lunch. We ask that attendees bring at least one silent auction item to help us raise funds for next year's seminar and keep it low cost.
We try our best to keep the cost as low as possible, but to offset the expenses of hosting the seminar we must charge a fee. This year's three day seminar will be the same as last year at $250 per person which includes lunch all three days. Lodging is an additional $25 per person per night, which includes, cabins, camper/RV hookups and tents. There are also multiple hotels in the area if you choose. Registration will be open soon. Spaces are limited, especially for K9 working spots.
