Ever make tamales on your own? I haven’t. Hence this party. Plus, this is an opportunity to connect with my mom about our Hispanic Heritage.
I can only remember one tamale party when we we’re overseas. And from what I can remember, it was a production. Talk about a community coming together and having fun while cooking!
My hope is that we can connect as a community, share our stories and pass on to the next generation what it takes to keep our heritage alive.
