In celebration of the centenary of the ESTÁCIO DE SÁ School, an unprecedented project is born: the INTERNATIONAL PASSISTA WING – ESTÁCIO AROUND THE WORLD.

For the first time, the school recognized as the Cradle of Samba opens its doors to bring together samba lovers from different countries in a grand celebration of Brazilian culture and the Rio de Janeiro Carnival.

Conceived and coordinated by CRISTIANO AMORIM, a professional with over 30 years of experience with the Rio Carnival, Muse of the Estácio de Sá School, international samba teacher and former director of the school's Passista Wing.

➖WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?:

✨ Official participation in the Estácio de Sá parade at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival 2027
✨ Official group costume included
✨ Exclusive samba workshop at the Estácio de Sá venue in Rio de Janeiro
✨ Online preparatory meeting before Carnival
✨ Guidance on singing, parade, posture, movement, and performance on the avenue
✨ Integration with participants from different countries passionate about samba

➖WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

The project is aimed at samba dancers passionate about Brazilian culture.
Spaces are limited and all applications will undergo prior evaluation.

➖APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. Fill out the pre-registration form.
2. Send a video demonstrating your samba.
3. The videos will be evaluated by the project coordination.
4. Approved candidates will receive all the supplementary information to confirm their participation.
This is an exclusive cultural experience, created for the centennial celebrations of Estácio de Sá.

The International Samba Dancers' Group was conceived to expand the school's presence around the world, strengthening cultural exchange and bringing the name of Estácio de Sá to new audiences and countries.
