World Migratory Bird Day

Join us to learn more about the importance of stopover locations in a bird's migration journey. Many birds rely on multiple ecosystems for wintering, feeding and breeding areas. Fortunately, McHenry County Conservation District and Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge provide these habitats. Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with activities, crafts, lessons and more at Lost Valley Visitor Center. Brought to you by the Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and McHenry County Conservation District.

This is free, drop-in event. All ages are welcome.
