Who knew that the interest would be so massive. 20 people at a time is the most we can take to insure everyone is able to see, feel, taste and ask questions.
Let's do a beginning forage class.
What do these plants look like, taste like, smell like, let's make some dandelion tea and talk about the nutritious and historical medicinal uses of these plants. We will just be staying in the yard part, not going in the woods so you might recognize these plants in your own yard(I feel like that is going into the woods is a more moderate class) and look at comfrey, horsetail, mullein and wild lettuce if they want to show up, plantain, dandelion and what the scientific studies even show about them. What antibiotics are available, what helps with flu and even cancer, which are hormone stabilizers. How do we use them?
I am Tonia with The Fillingame Homestead and we use Creation to save my sons life when we were given no hope.
I am expecting this class to be somewhere between 1 and 2 hours, depending on questions and needs.
We will have some seeds available for purchase, bug spray and how we use what we grow to make it.
Please know this is a homestead so there are free roaming turkeys, chickens, goats and their guardian dogs as well as we do have beehives. We will talk about what we used when my hot husband had a bad reaction to a bee sting and make sure we always know where it is when working with bees. Guess what that is?
Want chickens? I can help you set up and even hatch out chicks and turkeys for you.
Want to taste what raw goats milk really tastes like? Its amazing and so much better for you than cows milk.
Here is the link, cost is $25, please sign up as soon as possible, I will send out a reminder the night before, with the address.
We also teach at Main Street Art Collective at 326 Main Street in Danville where we also have what we make from Creation.
