✨ Join us for a cosy spring outing to Svanninge Bakker! 🌿🥪
On Saturday, April 25th, we’re heading to the beautiful natural area of Svanninge Bakker for a relaxed day in nature with picnic, fresh air, and good company. We’ll meet at 10:30 and enjoy the unique landscape together.
Svanninge Bakker is part of the UNESCO World Heritage area and Geopark South Funen, shaped by the Ice Age. The rolling hills, open views, and green surroundings make it a perfect spot for a spring getaway 🌼☀️
🍽️ Picnic & food
We’ll bring sandwiches for everyone, and we’ll also stop by Skovtrolden to buy ice cream 🍦
Please make sure you have beverages with you for the whole hike!
Don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket if you have one.
🌧️ Plan B – only if it rains
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll switch plans and visit Faaborg Museum instead, followed by a short walk around Faaborg ✨
At the museum, you can also see paintings of Svanninge Bakker, connecting art and landscape 🎨
🚍 Getting there by public transport (from Odense)
Svanninge Bakker can be reached by bus from Odense (e.g. FynBus lines 111 or 141) with a travel time of approx. 45–50 minutes.

💸 Transport
The Local Branch of Fyn will cover transportation for LF Fyn volunteers according to Dansk ICYE’s travel refund policy.
Everyone is welcome to join! If you are part of another local branch, you can ask your own branch whether they will cover your transport. LF Fyn will cover all other event-related costs.
