Since 2017, UNDER festival has explored the intersection of electronic music, digital art and contemporary culture in Riga, bringing together local communities and international artists.  

The 2026 edition focuses on the dialogue between sound, technology and artistic practice. Night program takes place @ SPĒLĒT concert hall (Brīvības 96a). Friday is dedicated to hypnotic and contemporary techno, led by Rene Wise alongside a selection of local and international DJs. Saturday shifts towards live performance and more exploratory territory, featuring Lady Starlight's hardware-based live set and a rare tape performance from South Korean artist Marcus L, alongside genre-crossing acts.  

Daytime programming @ ZEFĪRS (Sporta 2) includes vinyl sessions from Latvian selectors, artist talks, debates and workshops hosted by leading Latvian instrument manufacturers Erica Synths and Gamechanger Audio, as well as discussions curated together with Keyi Magazine (Germany) and Ghost International Community (Norway).  

Positioned between club culture, experimental music and digital arts, UNDER continues to serve as one of the Baltic region's meeting points for artists, listeners and researchers interested in the future of sound.
