Ivo Puiupo (b. Lisbon, 1996) is currently based in São Paulo, Brazil.
Puiupo’s body of work is deeply rooted in underground comics and spreads its branches throughout various supports such as painting, photography, film and so on. His work and practice thrive in being multimedia, keeping a specific world in mind despite a change in form.

Crystal Tears (2025)

In this mockumentary, we follow amateur documentary filmmaker and poodle aficionado Flávia on a journey in search of Cristal, a flamboyant poodle and former showbiz star who is trying to adjust to a new stage in her life. Amid fond conversations about a glamorous past and simple strolls by the sea, Flávia captures with a keen eye the difficulties, anxieties, and small joys of a former star.

After the artist talk, you can also get signed copies of Puiupo's mono kuš! 'Synapses.'
