Deivids Džave Džonsons aicina uz interaktīvu lekciju/darbnīcu "Mākslīgā intelekta mūzika 2026. gada 8. oktobrī - MI pārveidos mūziku". Lekcijas ietvaros Džave aicinās dalībniekus kopīgi pētīt mūsdienu izaicinājumus un jaunākās prakses šajā jomā. Pētnieks dalīsies ar līdzsvarotu skatījumu un atziņām darbā ar MI, kas gūtas viņa mākslinieciskajos eksperimentos. Pēc lekcijas sekos neliela darbnīca, kas noslēgsies ar koncertu.
Deivids Džave Džonsons ir kanādiešu mākslinieks, dzejnieks un kopš 2023. gada Bergenas Universitātes Digitālo stāstu centra pētnieks, kurš jau vairāk nekā divas desmitgades darbojas tehnoloģiju un literatūras robežteritorijā. Viņa darba centrā ir cilvēka un mašīnas sadarbība, pētot, kā mākslīgais intelekts var paplašināt mūsu radošuma robežas, nevis tās aizstāt. Džaves akadēmiskā un praktiskā pieredze apvieno filozofisku izpratni par estētiku ar iemaņām darbā ar jaunākajiem AI rīkiem.

This participatory AI-generative workshop  “AI Music as of Oct 8, 2026 - AI will transform music” by David Jhave Johnston  will examine contemporary issues and emergent practices. It attempts to offer a balanced perspective and insights from artistic explorations. After the lecture there will be a small workshop which will culminate in a collective concert.
David Jhave Johnston is a Canadian digital artist, poet, and researcher who has been at the intersection of technology and literature for over two decades. His work focuses on human-machine collaboration, exploring how artificial intelligence can expand the boundaries of our creativity. Since 2023, he has been a researcher at the Center for Digital Narrative at the University of Bergen.
The event takes place at the Art Academy of Latvia, Building K2.
Free entrance.
