Svētkos rādīsim sen neredzētas un senāk tapušas BAL biedru filmas gan analogos formātos, gan to digitālās kopijās. Vakaru sāksim ar audiāli kinētisku performanci ar igauņu skaņu mākslinieki Erik Alaloga, savukārt ar paplašinātā kino performancēm uzstāsies nīderlandiešu māksliniece Estere Urlusa (Esther Urlus), izmantojot 4x 16mm kino projektorus un to optisko skaņu, kam sekos Somijā dzīvojošā Mareka Plučieņika (Marek Pluciennik ) modificēta 35mm kino projektora performance kopā ar itāļu mūziķi Frančesko Carella (Francesco Carella). Pasākumā par dzērieniem rūpēsies Nurmes pop-up bārs, kā arī darbosies grils no pašu atnestiem gardumiem Programmā: 20:00 Kinētiska skaņu performance ar Erik Alalooga (EE) Eriks Alaloga ir performanču un skaņu mākslinieks, pedagogs un kultūras projektu vadītājs, kurš dzīvo Tallinā, Igaunijā un šogad ņēma dalību apvienotajā BAL un Skaņu meža rezidencē. Viņš galvenokārt ir pazīstams ar pašdarinātu (DIY) analogo tehnoloģiju risinājumu izpēti un izmantošanu savos mākslas darbos. Kopš 2005. gada viņa radošās prakses centrā ir tiešās attiecības starp cilvēku un mašīnu. The event marks one of the Baltic Analog Lab's 10th anniversary events, while also celebrating the in-between year of the Process Festival, with film screenings and expanded cinema audiovisual performances by international guest artists. This year Baltic Analog Lab celebrates its 10th anniversary. Throughout the year, we are marking the occasion with a series of events leading up to the main anniversary celebration in November. During the Courtyard Festival, we will screen a selection of rarely shown, earlier works by Baltic Analog Lab members in both their original analogue formats and digital versions. The expanded cinema programme will feature Dutch artist Esther Urlus, performing with four 16mm film projectors and their optical soundtracks, followed by a performance by Finland-based artist Marek Pluciennik using a modified 35mm film projector, in collaboration with Italian musician Francesco Carella. Drinks will be available from the Nurme pop-up bar, and a barbecue will be set up for visitors to grill brought snacks.
