The location.

Our location is the rural and unspoiled medieval village of Casperia perched amidst spectacular mountains and surrounded by olive groves. With no modern distractions, it offers timeless charm and a chance to experience genuine Italian village life.

There are amazing countryside walks to enjoy in the mediterranean sunshine. Local food, wine, and coffee with warm hospitality - all that the Italians do best.

The walled village is steeped in history. Enjoy strolling its car-free streets and taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Where we'll stay.

Our home for the week is an historic, centuries-old palazzo, where simplicity meets history. Once the Count’s private residence, situated inside the medieval walls of the village. Rich in history and full of antiques dating back centuries. Enjoy exploring the ancient courtyard, gardens and grounds.

Inside the palazzo, we have shared twin rooms, each with its own bathroom and a communal lounge and kitchen - beautifully simple spaces that honour the palazzo's centuries-old charm.

Breakfast is served daily in the village cafe after our morning yoga class. Lunches and evening meals can be enjoyed either at the 2 or 3 local restaurants or by cooking together in the kitchen. There is a village shop to buy daily, fresh, local produce.

Yoga.

Yoga each morning and each afternoon in the converted stable of the palazzo. With focus on the the breath and suitable for all levels.

Our days.

The days are yours to spend how you’d like - read, snooze or explore. The Sabina mountains surrounding Casperia offer wonderful trekking and scenery.

Included in your stay is a guided walk with local guides. Use of bikes to explore the area and use of an outdoor pool (30 minute walk from the palazzo).

Cost.

£664

INCLUDES shared room with ensuite, breakfast, two yoga sessions a day, guided walk, use of bikes and use of outdoor pool.

EXCLUDES flights, transfers, lunches, evening meals, any additional activities taken by choice, travel insurance.

Flights / Getting to Casperia.

We usually fly either via Easyjet, Bristol or Jet2 Birmingham to Rome Fiumicino.

At Rome Fiumicino it's an easy walk to the airport train station to buy a ticket to Poggio Mirteto.

Once on the train, contact us and we'll make sure someone is there to meet you at Poggio Mirteto to transfer you to Casperia.

This is a truly laid-back, peaceful authentic Italian experience - beautifully uncomplicated and rooted in centuries of village life.

About Isabelle :

Isabelle’s classes are full of energy - dynamic flows, mindful movement and uplifting music with moments to check in threaded throughout. Embody the mind, body and soul connection - build strength, embrace softness and find gratitude for the space you’ve carved out for yourself. Energise and nourish your soul, create space in your body and mind, and leave feeling balanced both on and off the mat.

Isabelle is a 500hr Advanced Yoga Teacher from Cheltenham who has trained with Ian Davis and Jambo Dragon. She came to the mat to tune out of the world outside and tune in to herself and found a purpose, a fresh perspective and a new way of life. She loves yoga, travelling in her campervan, going to festivals, lifting weights, reading paperback books and listening to Fleetwood Mac.
