This all-female quartet blends virtuosic musicianship with biting wit, emotional depth, and fearless social commentary, creating performances that are as thought-provoking as they are wildly entertaining.

Touring in support of their latest album, Pet, Big Richard brings the full force of their live show to the Sherbino. Recorded live to tape to capture the raw electricity of their performances, Pet showcases the band at their most urgent and locked-in—stacking hard-driving originals, inventive instrumentals, and striking reinterpretations of traditional and contemporary songs into a set that hits fast, loud, and deep.

Big Richard’s lineup—bass, mandolin and guitar, fiddle, and cello—creates a powerful and uncommon sonic palette for bluegrass, allowing the band to move seamlessly between ferocity and finesse.
