Banshee Tree + Handmade Moments coming to the Sherbino – Fri, November 21
We’re beyond excited to announce one of the biggest live music nights of the year at the Sherbino! On November 21, two powerhouse bands — Banshee Tree and Handmade Moments — will take the stage for an unforgettable night of genre-bending energy, musicianship, and soul.
Both acts are known for their boundary-pushing live shows that blend folk, funk, swing, jazz, and everything in between — and together, they promise one explosive evening you won’t want to miss.
HANDMADE MOMENTS (New Orleans, LA): Based in New Orleans, Handmade Moments is the fearless duo of Anna Moss and Joel Ludford. Their shows weave together intoxicating vocals, bass clarinet, saxophone, sousaphone, guitar, upright bass, and even tag-team beatboxing into a dynamic blend of American music. With their endearing personalities and genre-bending sound, they serve up ornate instrumentation and sophisticated songcraft that sneaks powerful messages into playful, lighthearted melodies. BANSHEE TREE (Denver, Co) blurs the lines between jazz, indie, psych and electroswing. Their live performance showcases intricately composed, emotional songs with high energy, trance like grooves.. Based out of Denver, BT has shared the stage with many national acts including Greensky Bluegrass, Balkan Bump, Twiddle and Leftover Salmon, and they tour nationally for growing audiences.
