Chairs are available for balance, support, or seated movement, and every activity can be modified to different levels of intensity.Dance supports balance, coordination, flexibility, memory, mood, and social connection, and it's a great way to meet your neighbors.About the ProgramClasses are taught by Isabel Bustamante, owner and director of Isabel's School of Dance in Bogota. Move & Groove 60+ was developed by Ridgefield Park resident Giselle Holloway as part of her Master of Arts Administration Capstone project at Rowan University, based on her research into the health benefits of dance for older adults.As a pilot program, participants will be invited to complete a short, optional, anonymous questionnaire at the first and last class. No personal information is collected, and results will be used only to evaluate the program as a whole.RegistrationThis class is free. Registration is required as space is limited.
