Next year, we’re heading to Richmond, Virginia, from June 24–27, 2026, and this is shaping up to be one of our best gatherings yet. If you’ve been to a Roundup before, you know it’s all about good company, shared history, and discovering new corners of Texas Jack’s world. If this will be your first one — welcome! You picked a great year to jump in.
Here’s what we’ve got planned:
Excursions & Activities
Colonial Williamsburg
Walk straight into the 1700s and explore one of the most immersive historical sites in the country.
Hollywood Cemetery
We’ll visit the resting place of several Omohundro family members and pay our respects at the graves of several Presidents as well as Texas Jack’s Civil War commander, General J.E.B. Stuart.
Other Richmond-area historic and cultural spots
We’ll visit the Tredegar Iron Works and the Chimborazo Hospital to learn more Civil War era history.
Between excursions, meals, and downtime at the hotel, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet fellow TJA members, swap stories, and enjoy a whole lot of Wild West fellowship.
Where We’re Staying:
Our host hotel is the Omni Richmond Hotel.
The room block, with special TJA rate, closes June 3, 2026, so don’t wait too long to reserve your stay.
👉 Hotel reservation link is available on the Roundup page.
Please make your travel and hotel arrangements early — Richmond is a popular spot in June.
Bus transportation will be provided for select excursions.
We can’t wait to see everyone back together in Richmond — celebrating history, telling stories, and spending time with people who keep Texas Jack’s legacy alive.
Grab your tickets, book your room, and we’ll see you in Virginia!
