- **Event Description**: Who is this session suitable for?
This stand up paddleboard session is open to anyone aged 10-16. All abilities are welcome, from complete beginners to those who have paddled before.
Must be able to swim.
All under 18's must have parent or legal guardian consent before taking part in activity and must stay on site during session.
How much does it cost?
£20 per session
This price includes water fees, parking, all SUP and safety equipment, and tuition.
What will we be doing in the session?
Master basic skills like standing up and turning
Develop more advanced skills
Races and games
Playing on the tandem and XL boards
Play SUP Polo a team game with special paddles that allow you to scoop and throw the ball to your goal (Think Lacrosse on a Paddle Board Its great fun ?
Learning safety skills like SUP rescues and understanding the effect of different weather conditions
Junior SUP Racing:
These sessions also give you an introduction to SUP Racing and a chance to progress in to competing at a junior level and even onto regional and national GB SUP Events.
What will be provided?
Quality wetsuits £2 extra hire
Neoprene tops (in warm weather)
Windproof jackets (in cold weather)
Hot/cold drinks & biscuits
Shower and changing facilities
What do you need to bring?
Swimwear and shorts
Shoes for walking around the carpark
Suncream and sunhat
Water bottle
Towel
Any personal medications you may need e.g. inhalers
Your own wetsuit if you have one
Cancellation and Bad Weather
Occasionally, due to bad weather (high winds), instructor availability or very low booking numbers, we may need to cancel your paddle board session. On these occasions we will attempt to reschedule your lesson, and if this is not an option, we will offer you a credit voucher or full refund. We will always endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able to discuss the options with you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you will need to give us a minimum of 48 hours notice. Please email or call us on 07984247519.
