We commence with a Guided Meditation bringing in the energies of Spring as we mark the beginning of Springtime with longer days ahead. The Spring Equinox represents balance new life and light new beginnings and seeds.

We follow with a “Reiki Drum Journey” whereby you can set a specific intention for guidance and healing. You will also receive a healing during this session with the drum and other instruments.

You will be gifted with a Black Tourmaline crystal which is deeply grounding and protective to support you during the session.

Reiki Drumming is a combination of Reiki and Drumming. For thousands of years the sound of the drumbeat has been used for sacred healing. The Reiki drum technique introduces reiki to a person’s energy field to bring about deep relaxation thereby releasing deep seated tensions and achieving homeostasis/balance.

The drum beat and rhythm reminds the body of its optimal vibration and can induce alpha state brainwaves. The vibration of the drum beat encourages the mental emotional and spiritual energy bodies to realign and chakras to become balanced so that we are able to reach our true spiritual selves. Drumming increases the heart rate and blood flow and engages the logical left brain and the intuitive right brain. It slows brain waves to around 8 cycles per second which is the same frequency as the earth.

The church dates back to 1896 and has a beautiful apse and stained glass to create beautiful reflective colours as we play the drum. The church also has incredible acoustics which is perfect for sound healing.

• Please wear comfortable clothing and bring watrer blankets yoga mats and cushions - to feel at ease during the session.
• There is no parking at the venue however there are plenty of parking spots in Richmond. The church is a short walk from Richmond train/tube station.
• The drum journey is not suitable for those suffering from Epilepsy or those with a Pacemaker.
