Cotton Lycra or ribbed stretch fabric works best for this pattern. 2-3 yards of elastic lingerie trim, fold over elastic or stretch lace for the trim. You can find this at Knitpop.com, bohofabric.com, SincerelyRylee.com, and Hobby-Lobby or Walmart locally and lots of other websites.You can purchase the supplies at the event if you have trouble finding them for an additional $20. This is a great way to get comfortable with stretch fabric, elastic, sewing a pattern, measuring sizing, and using a serger. Come with a basic understanding of sewing, but mastery isn't required. This pattern is a great beginner pattern. Machines are available to borrow. If you bring your own, please don't forget your pedal, a stretch or jersey needle, power cords and thread (polyester thread is great for this).
