RVA Racing Tacky Light Ride is on again! The RVA Racing Ladies Squad had so much fun running it last, they’re running it again!
We have an awesome route and plenty of shenanigans planned!
Maybe even a cookie contest!!
ROUTE & PACE:
We have a great route planned. It’s ~9.7 miles and is pretty flat. Lots of decorated homes on this route that will include a mix of the Tacky Light Tour and some that take “festive” to the extreme!
This is a fun ride, so our pace will be "casual" meaning social pace with stops to take in all the scenery. No one is dropped and the pack will be seeded with RVA Racing Team riders and friends throughout to keep us all together.
We will have a mid-ride pause on N Shields Ave to regroup and possibly have a “warmer” or frosty beverage.
ROUTE: We have the route and we will release it Thursday.
MEETUP: Byrd Park Lot! Meet at 6pm. We will have a best costume, best bike contest and we are rolling at 6:30/6:45!!!
LET’S LIGHT IT UP:
Lights are required for this one … crazy sweaters and ornaments optional! Deck out that bike too, there may be prizes for "best dressed" person and bike. We will be on main roads so the more lit up the better!!!
RIDER SUPPORT: You are your own support! This is important and I say this because past events have led to people bringing bikes which haven’t seen out of the garage for years. Make sure your rig is ready to roll and properly maintained.

There is simply no way to ever have a large group event without some drama - someone gets lost, someone thinks the pace is too fast, someone pukes on the top of a hill, etc. We will do our very best to reduce the drama but it can never be eliminated.
