55th Annual Christmas of Yesteryear – Dec. 6th
Please join us by celebrate the Village of Richmond’s Christmas of Yesteryear event and get in the Festive Holiday Spirit!
On Saturday, December 6th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The District (10308 Main St.) the Village of Richmond will be hosting the famous St. Joseph’s Cookie Walk. A Cocoa Bar will be available with monetary donations encouraged for the Richmond Food Pantry. Free visits and photos with Santa from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, each child will receive a holiday bag filled with goodies. There will be free face painting, Christmas Ornament making, as well as, a craft sponsored by the Nippersink Library.
- Mr. Killian will create and provide holiday balloon creations from 10:00 AM to Noon
- Magic Dave will entertain visitors with his magical tricks from 11:00 AM to Noon
- Local Girl Scout troops will be caroling downtown from 10 AM to Noon.
Additionally, the Richmond Township Fire Department located at 5601 Hunter Drive will be hosting a Food Drive to benefit the Richmond Food Pantry at the Fire House from November 1st to December 19th and Doyle’s Pub located at 5604 Mill Street is hosting “Coats for Courage” to bring warmth, comfort, and provide gratitude to those who served to local Disabled Veterans and Veterans in need. Clean gently used or new coats for men can be dropped off from October 25th to November 22nd. Please stop in at these locations to participate by helping others in need this Holiday Season!
