For more than 240 years, its members and visitors have included generations of Virginians who helped shape Richmond, the Commonwealth, and the nation.Among them were Edmund Randolph, who was Virginia's first governor following independence, the nation's first Attorney General, and a delegate to the Constitutional Convention and John Marshall, a Revolutionary War veteran, statesman, and the longest-serving Chief Justice of the United States.This year's program will feature the Honorable Jim Gilmore, former Governor of Virginia, with remarks exploring Randolph, Marshall, the Early Republic, civic virtue, and the importance of preserving the historic places that connect us to these stories.Following the program, guests are invited to stay for a tour of Historic Masons' Hall and learn more about the building, the people associated with it, recent historical discoveries, and the ongoing work to preserve and interpret this remarkable Richmond landmark.Light refreshments will be available.Event DetailsSaturday, September 19, 202610:30 AM–12:00 PMProgram followed by an optional tourHistoric Masons' Hall1807 E.
