- **Event Description**: I'm considering teaching another Baroque Dance class each week in 2026!  
Please respond here if you are interested.  
Open to anyone who is curious about the form.  (I teach another class on Wednesday mornings which is suitable for people with prior dance training.)  I consider this new class something that will accommodate anyone. 
 
This is a beautiful and intricate form of dance. Class structure starts with a thorough warm up created specifically to prepare the body for executing the baroque sequences.
We then practise short combinations of the 19 basic step units, without arm patterns and then integrating arms with the legs.

Finally we learn how to read Baroque dance notation so people can be free to explore on their own, the 1,000 or so choreographies recorded in the early 18th C.

I am open to a few suggestions re time on Thursday afternoons.  Times between 2pm and ending no later than 6:15.
