Why do I need a ticket?
Advance tickets allow staff to best prepare for tour capacities. Due to the limited distancing available within the Mansion, capacities are limited.
Does my toddler need a ticket?
Children ages 2 and under receive free admission, but they do need to have a ticket to enter. Ages 3-12 require reservation of a child ticket. Ages 13 and over require a reservation of an adult ticket. Maymont Members may use their membership ID to reserve free tickets.
If I’m a member, do I still need to reserve a ticket?
Yes, Maymont Members can use their membership ID to reserve their free tour reservations. Because capacity is limited, it’s important to reserve your spot in advance.
Maymont Mansion is a well-preserved Gilded Age home that has limited accessibility to the main portion of the house. An ADA-accessible path is available for the belowstairs exhibit space. Baby/child strollers are not permitted due to space limitations.
