Description:

Learn how to turn your favorite clothing into sewing patterns without taking it apart. This two-day workshop will cover how to copy most garments, and students will leave with a finished pattern matching their favorite garment to take home and sew up later. Master the basic skills of "cloning" your clothing and what goes into pattern-making using an existing garment.

• Garment of choice that you’d like to make a pattern from
• Pattern-making paper, tracing paper, or craft paper to draft your pattern on *There will be a limited supply of pattern-making paper provided in class*

• Can get pattern-making paper here
• OR craft paper like this
• OR tracing paper like this

• Paper scissors
• 2” wide x 18” long clear gridded ruler
• Measuring tape
• Pencils
• Pens
• Eraser
• Sewing pins
• Tracing wheel
• Clear tape
