IofC USA's Circle Up Reading Community gathers several times throughout the year to share a meal, read a selected book together, and engage in meaningful discussion. We provide the books for readers in advance of the meeting to ensure all participants can fully participate in the conversation.
Our next Reading Community will focus on the book Blackinese, Reflections on Race and Ethnicity from a Biracial Millennial by Patricia Brady Moore.📚
Join us on Wednesday, March 25th, starting at 6:30pm. at Libbie Mill Library (2100 Libbie Lake E Street, Richmond VA) in the LM Meeting Room. There we'll discuss Moore's book, dive into its themes, and explore how the text can inspire our shared work right here in Richmond. Books will be available for pick up at the front desk of Common House (303 W Broad St) beginning on Thursday,March 5th.
Especially in times like these, we remain committed to our legacy of offering programs at no cost. We are excited to open this event to all and to provide books and refreshments as part of that commitment. We believe in making our programs accessible and welcoming to everyone.
