- **Event Description**: Y6 Core is a heated, low-impact, high-intensity class that blends YogaSix’s yoga roots with slow, controlled, Pilates-inspired movements. Don’t let “low-impact” fool you—your core and glutes are definitely going to know they attended class!

We’ll begin with a short warm-up, including a few Sun Salutations, before moving into 36 minutes of focused core work set to upbeat cardio beats. Using YogaSix’s signature three-wave structure, each class builds heat quickly, challenges muscular endurance, and then gradually guides you into a well-earned cool-down and savasana.

This class is designed to help you:

? Strengthen your deep core and hip-stabilizing muscles
? Activate your glutes and improve full-body integration
? Develop greater stability, control, and body awareness
? Build muscular endurance without heavy weights or high-impact cardio

YogaSix master trainers have created eight different scripted Y6 Core sequences. Since I’ll be teaching this class every other week, we’ll practice each sequence for six consecutive classes before moving on to the next one. Repetition gives you time to become familiar with the movements, improve your form, track your progress, and build strength and endurance with each class.
