If you haven't had a chance to see the gorgeous interior of The Reid Center, this is your opportunity. Local historian and Reid Center board member, Sue King, will be on hand to tell the story of Daniel Gray Reid and his gift of the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. Tours will begin at:
11:30 AM on the first Wednesday in September, October, and November (Sept. 3, Oct. 1, and Nov.5)
11:00 AM on the second Saturday in September, October, November, and December. (Sept. 13, Oct. 11, Nov. 8, and Dec. 13)
Visitors will experience the amazing interior that was entirely designed by the Tiffany Glass Co. of New York City. Every window in the building is a Tiffany window! The former church is a national treasure and is finding new life as a performance venue and community center.
This is a free event.
Activities at The Reid Center are made possible in part by the Community Foundation of Randolph County, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
