- **Event Description**: It’s high time that the Art Deco Society of Virginia returns to have high tea at the Jefferson Hotel! You will have a splendid time socializing with your fellow Deco lovers and also eat some delicious morsels in a beautiful setting of the Jefferson Hotel mezzanine balcony. It is an auspicious day for tea as the popular song “Tea For Two" by Marion Harris hit Number 1 on the charts on February 28, 1925! Tea at the Jefferson includes:

• Assorted finger sandwiches (house made chicken salad on white, cucumber and dill on pumpernickel, sundried tomato and arugula spinach wrap, ham on a buttered white house roll) 
• Freshly baked scones served with Devonshire cream and strawberry preserves
• A Selection of pastries and tea breads 
• Choice of tea (parties larger than 5 will receive a choice of 2 teas)

Complimentary self-parking is available for tea guests in the Main Street parking lot located between Adams and Jefferson Streets. Please ask the host or your server for a parking validation ticket before leaving the hotel. Valet parking is also available in the hotel's main entrance at 101 W Franklin Street for $18 per car. Rates subject to change and based upon availalility.

The $60 price includes tea, service fees, and tax. Registration will close on Friday, February 20 as we need to confirm final numbers for our reservation.
