This work-in-progress presentation marks the first public presentation of the custom-built multispectral LED light and sound instruments developed for the forthcoming immersive installation-performance.Since the 2023 summer solstice, the project has been gathering continuous multispectral data on the color of light inside homes across multiple time zones, capturing wavelengths beyond the RGB color space of screens and projections. This two-year time-lapse forms a planetary portrait of daily rhythms, seasonal change, and lived domestic light.At the core of this performance - installation are the newly developed multispectral LED light instruments, designed to reproduce and play back spectral light data collected from homes across the global sensor network.
