- **Event Description**: Summer time means meals on the go, and we love filling our picnic hamper with Cornish Pasties! This traditional hand-held pie, which was originally created as a portable meal for miners to carry down the Cornish tin mines, is baked in a flaky crust filled with well-seasoned steak and vegetables. In this class, we'll make the pastry, prepare the filling, and construct our own pasties. While they bake, we'll whip up a colorful, zesty Pickleback Slaw to enjoy as a side dish.

About the instructor:

Mia Snow is a home baker who lived in Cornwall, England for many years, and who enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for British baking.


Our facility is BYOB.

Class has a maximum of 12 students and a minimum of 6. Classes may be cancelled 4 days ahead of time if minimum is not met. Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.
