Nothing beats British Holiday Baking and in this class we will create three fabulous desserts that will surely put you in the festive spirit: 1. Shortbread, which is a simple treat that also makes a delightful hostess gift. 2. We will roll our own pastry for Mince Pies, filled with Vermont-made mincemeat from Blake Hill Preserves, and topped with brandy butter. 3. Sticky Toffee Pudding, which is actually a cake, not a pudding, and is simply scrumptious -- as it bakes, it creates its own rich, toffee sauce. This is a hands-on class - no experience necessary - and you will go home with recipes, some new skills, and whatever is left over!
About the instructor:
Mia Snow has been baking for family and friends both here and in the UK for many decades, and she enjoys sharing recipes and enthusiasm for British baking.
Our facility is BYOB.
Class has a maximum of 12 students and a minimum of 6. Classes may be cancelled 4 days ahead of time if minimum is not met. Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.
